Current Orbit Marine Lights

Hi everyone I have just started a 90 gallon and have a t5 light fixture (2 bulbs) looking into changing my lights just wondering if the current marine lights are any good I can get a farley new 48 inch light for a good price but if they are not good lights I would rather wait and but something better or should I pick it up and add a second strip later

I have personally been down this road, I spent more money on off brand T5, LED and MH. I added this and that and created a mess of wires and timers. I know it seems alot of money up front, however do yourself a favor and buy good lights first. @Matt1997 on here I believe still has Hydra 52 lights? I bought a used set and couldn't be happier.

Ya dont waste your time on them, can barely grow softies,cheap china LEDs work wonders over them things

Hydras sold. Wouldn’t buy the current personally.

I would buy 165 watt box leds on amazon.

I could t get them set right for what I wanted, gave to a friend and he has great success.

I ended up buy the current light I only paid 100 for the light but you guys are right the guy I got the light from switched to a pair of the Chinese lights off Amazon Ok will upgrade soon

Marsaqua doesnt have timers but is the cheaper versions of black boxes but has a better spectrum, nd spread, it's what I use, 300w and the 165w,
