Da Rk Lite Salinity Probe Calibration Q

Does anyone know how to do this?

My sl2 and my DA Salinity probe didn't come with any manuals or instructions.

I've tried to look online and on DA's site with no luck.

I found a youtube video on it. But I went through the process he outlined and no luck. After I followed the youtube instructions. It's saying my tank is below 1.010! If that was the case all my stuff would be dead and not to mention my hydrometer reads 1.025.

HELP! Please

Brand new or used? If probe has dried out...90% chance it's done. I have never had one read proper after drying out

Btw. The pc4 I got from you works like a charm. But the SID module doesn't work for myreef. It says it's later than 2.0 so isn't compatible. Jerry do you know of another way to name my modules other than myreef program?

This is the only thing I found that comes close to showing how to calibrate
I did this and no good!

I am usibg the calibration solution.

I posted on DA'S forum and the guys there seem to be helping.

I guess with this probe. You need to "condition" the probe before calibrating. By placing the probe in the tank/sump for 48hours before calibrating.

I'll give it the condition period and see if I can get it to work.

Will keep this updated for anyone wanting to add one to their RK
