Hmm ill have to see about that. I have nothing against led other than the upfront price tag

an 8 or 10 bulb T5 setup with new bulbs is going to be almost as expensive when its all said and done.. then in 6 months you need to drop a couple hundred more on bulbs

6 months?? Thats pretty crazy, 8-10 months is the norm (even up to 12 months seems to be ok)

Led will be long term cheapest. It all depends what you want to keep in there. If you want a full blown reef then you might need more bulbs like some of the people who use them say.

Crazy nozzle and I built a 12 bulb t5 unit. All new ballasts and end sockets. Bulbs included. Inly thing you need to do is locate some reflectors. Shoot him a pm. It's also only 15" wide and 50" long. All 54 watt t5s. Will fit a 48" tank and def gonna shoot some par in a deep tank

Ya I saw your add Karl but I thought it would be bigger than I needed. Ill take some measurments and let you know. This tank has a custom canopy and the works. So it has to fit
