Diy Algal Turf Scrubber

Hi all,

I like to DIY and experiment a bit. I made a algal turf scrubber using PVC lumber (no acrylic on this one). It has LED grow lights I bought off of Amazon.ca. It is a little early to make conclusions on success/failure, but the screen is greening up .

nice little contraption. sure looks like it is working. if you find the led's dont grow it fast enough dollarama has a good par20 light that sure does and ikea has dirt cheap fixtures. we all know your bound to upgrade to another bigger tank one day .
