Ehhh. They r cheap little motors. All it takes is for one to not work; or work slowly on one of your two part. And u could have some serious problems. No? Granted regular testing would show you are out of ballance I guess. Dosers scare me that's all

I used to use a Tom aqualifter for my ATO, but they kept failing and creating a siphon.

My tank can handle a gallon of either mix over a day and not be worse for wear. I plan on checking it quite often for the first little bit.

I think they are only 240 mA, so 1 amp would be fine...

Works great. Much quieter in the box.
