What would be the most efficient way to build a sump,and by efficient i mean taking full advantage of all the space in a sump and getting the most benifit from it.myself i have aquired a 3'x2'x18" glass tank and will drill the holes needed but what really is the best design?ive looked at quite a few and am still undecided,i want to make sure that i get the most out of this.I would welcome any and all ideas.I will have my skimmer and pumps outside the sump so i will have lots of room,i want a DSB as well as a refugium,how much space would one set aside for the a DSB?is there a formula for how much floor space you would need to make a DSB 5 inches deep to accomodate a 100 gallon tank?
