Emerald crabs eating everything but bubble algae

I have been watching my emeralds eat. There on a bubble algae infested rock eating all but the bubble algae. I dont know why. Any input or ideas

If you just got them I would wait a little and see what happens. When I had one it didn't rush to the bubble algae but it did end up eating it.

I have some bubble algae hear and there and I know the crab goes all over at night. BUT He doesn't seem to eat the bubble algae!!!

I have 3 in my 90g and they go all over the place. I found they eventually get to it. Remember they probably not all that smart ???
