just getting into Heli's. Haven't gone to a club to learn how to fly, but have a huge yard and have been dying to actually get good at it. I am finally breaking down and getting a simulator for winter practice. I am an old fart so maybe my "reflexes" aren't as fast as they used to be ;)

Why helicopter when you can get a drone? Wouldn't the drone be easier to control, with the four engines? The ability to mount a camera on them and the aerial footage I've saw are pretty impressive and cool.

Plus the more expensive drones where you use GoPro camera you can watch where your flying in a iPad and it will land safely if you make a mistake or dead batteries or toy to far away

Yes I have been looking at drones and will probably pick up the dromida ominus at some point, but I have always wanted to fly RC helicopters.
