Materials-
40g breeder- leaked,10$
3- 1/4" 3'x 12" glass panes- thriftstore-10$
Silicone-10$
Glass cutter-7$
Painters tape-4$
Sand paper - 5$
I cut down the 40 breeder, it was very dirty and scratched.
After several attempts to clean the sides I said f it and bought some new panes.
Building it was very simple, I followed urayjoey from youtube a instructions. Look him up if you want to see how.
The silicone job was me at my best
Still not store bought quaility but it does it's job and looks half decent.
7 day water test proves no leaks !
I plan on painted the bottom and possibly the back blk, no 100% sure yet
I will be using a CPR hob refugium as a sump for the swap.
Final dimensions are 29" long
12" High, 18" wide
Equals roughly 27 gallons
