Cheapest Place I have found for plumbing supplies INCLUDING gate valves is Elmira Fish Farm Supply: (They also have a TON of other fish stuff)

Thanks, I might just have to take a drive out there this weekend and check it out! I have to drop off a live trap at a friends in St Jacobs anyways.

If you don't have any luck there finding the plumbing pieces that you need check Plasto, they are just outside London or give sealife central a call, they are fantastic to deal with and always willing to lend a hand..

Just picked up a gate valve and two unions from plasco welding! $50 total!
