Hammer Flesh Growing To Live Rock?

I have lots of hammer in my tank as well as other euphyllia corals. But this oneshould flesh has grown down over the calcified branch and now over the rock. Anyone ever seen this before?

Is it the branching or solid kind? I have seen this in the solid more as it likes to be attached more secure but the branching variety does as well.

It is a branching hammer, not a wall hammer. It is pretty neat none the less. I am interested in it hardening now.
