Intank Media Composition

I am planning to use two Intank media in my new reef tank.

Intank Media composition #1 (order from the top to bottom):
-Filter Floss
-Seachem Matrix Carbon in Seachem 180 micron mesh bag
-Seachem Purigen in Seachem 180 micron mesh bag

Intak media composition #2:
-Poly Filter pad
-Seachem Phosguard in Seachem 180 micron mesh bag
-Chemipure Blue

Two questions for you experts:
  1. What do you think of the composition?
  2. Do I install them from the beginning of the cycle, or after cycle is completed? If after cycle is completed, what do I install in these intank media while cycling?
Thanks

at another forum, people said that this is overkill, and I believe so too.

I think I will go with filter floss and chemipure blue only after the tank is cycled. During cycling, I will just use filter floss.

I use filter floss on the top and leave the water level just below this. Water overflows onto the floss taking out excess food, etc. Replace this pad twice a week.

I then have purigen and chemi pure blue. Which is not the correct way to do it. That was my mistake. It should be chemi pure elite and purigen, I'll be switching to this combo soon.

A more economical way of doing it would be bulk gfo in one bag and bulk carbon in another.

Instead of doing chemipure elite and purigen, why not just do chemipure blue only since it has purigen in it?

How about filter floss on the top, poly filter pad in the middle, and chemipure blue on the bottom?
