Looking for light mount arm for Radion XR30 older generation

Here is a quote from Echo Tech.

"With the release of Gen 5 Radions, there will be new parts to the RMS system. With the Radion G5 XR30 fans on the top - the original X brackets used on the single and multi-light RMS system will not work with G5. The new brackets will accommodate the G5 XR30 fan - and will also work with all previous Radion models. There is a new X bracket for the G5 XR15s also - however, the original X brackets will work with the new Gen 5 XR15."

So if you have to, you can purchase the new mount which will adapt to the older gen 4 lights.\

Correct @Winks, the new XR30 G5 bracket works with any model XR30 however the G4 XR30 brackets are not compatible with G5 XR30. The XR15 brackets are compatible with all year XR15 as the fan has always been on the top.

It does become an issue if you have the older brackets on other XR30's and add another one. The new brackets have the light slightly closer to the water and they would look weird unless you replace all of the X brackets.

I prefer not to purchase the new one. They are like $200 each!! Way over priced for a mounting arm. almost the same price for used gen 2 xr30
