I have a question on behalf of my bud garret.
For his tank we came up with a cool design that requires some of the liverock to be permanently out of the water, inspired by the famous volcano tank.

What do you guys think will happen to the exposed Rock?
I'm guessing it will probably just bleach but I'm not sure.

This is kind of a open ended discussion so all opinions are welcome.

Ya it's possible, but he will eventually run gfo, and keep his phosphate in Check, I should think that would help

It may smell and rot for a while but will eventually just become dry rock with a few adventurous critters crawling on it
