Just got this guy home and wondering if anyone can tell me whats wrong with its gill and if its something contagious or if just injured. Looks like and infection or gill flukes to me. I read doing fw dipp wont help if its in the gills it only works when its on the skin.

Dont have a qt setup. I usually dont but i have one I used to qt a tang that i could use for this. Id rather not if its just an injury ill let it get better in the tank.

The other side looks normal, breathing little heavy from being scared i think but not too hard.

If you guys think its something contagious or something i cant treat in the tank ill set up the qt.

I can’t see the flukes?

I had a Borbonious Anthias with eye and gill flukes, I forget what I used to treat it. Flukes were gone after 2 days.

Make sure it’s flukes first before you treat!

This is a better pic of the blenny. I gave it a little frozen bbs and some nls pellets soaked in garlic. It took a couple nibbles.

The blue ram pic is kind of bit more extreme but thats what it looks like.
