Multiple Tangs in one Reef? - Powder Blue Rescue and curbing tang aggression! I ended up with a powder blue tang on my doorstep needing a home, I was extremely worried about adding it with my hippo tang.. (who actually didn't care..) It was the Yellow tang that seemed to have a superiority complex. Luckily a little trick seemed to curve that.

@TORX is that tang guru lol :) glad it worked for ya tangs are beautiful!
Thank you lol.

When I added my powder blue I had 2 hippo, 1 yellow and 2 scopa. Sadly most of my fish at the time were all old and rescues, I have since lost the yellow and one scopa. I had to say goodbye to 1 hippo as it decided it liked my fancy zoas. They all lived peacefully for years. I may still have a video somewhere.

I like the mirror trick. I will try it in the future. Currently I black out the tank before adding the new fish. I leave it blacked out/covered for 2-3 days. Then I start peeling the wrap off a little at a time during the last day. Lights are off the whole time and feed heavy.

Powder blue is still one of my favorites. Next is a naso
