OK, have a 32 galon cube. Keeping this going. Also have a 55 gallon frag. The frag tank is being replaced with a 120 tank and new sump.
Tank will be in living room. Plumbing will go through the wall to spare room behind and sump and systems back there.
Picked up the tank and sump from a fellow on here.
Now the build begins.
I will post pics as I go.
Any input is greatly appreciated.

Ok plumbing cut and dry fit another step closer.
Ignore large extra hole in the wall by the sump. I kinda hit a wire and had to repair it. Hole will be patched at a later date.

Gonna add a bit more rock at some point. But not too much. I don't like a clogged tank.
Probably add some Matrix or those really pouris bricks to the sump to make up for using less rock.
I run purigen, carbon and GFO reactor, skimmer and some Dragons Breath in the refgium
in the sump.

So I used some brand new reef rock, and some of the existing rock from the old system.
I was fighting algae in the old system.
Now after 2 weeks I have this hairy, whitish, clear looking growth over all the new and old rock and the brand new frag rack i made.
Any thoughts.

Mike

Everything looking good. Sorry I missed you at SMC today.
ya, would have been nice to actually meet you. I had to get back, had company from Alberta over.
I ended up putting a mirror at the end of the tank. My fox face wasn't real happy with the new guys
He wasn't beating the crap out of them, but doing some chasing.
Now there all occupied with there reflections. LOL

They all seem happy and healthy so far.

Tank is cycling, turkey baster the rocks and frag racks a couple times a day and be patient.
