So I do not own a apex currently have a reef keeper, im thinking of making the switch seen this Neptune Apex Trident upcoming feature for 2018 and wow may have to make the switch in the new year! Just wondering everyone thoughts were! If you can use this to also dos then wow!!

This will be awesome if it works as intended. Now everyone will be able to have a reef tank as long as you purchase the correct equipment.

5-600 USD plus $40 every 2 months for regent. But I assume it will also work in conjunction with the DOS to auto dose accordingly too.

Dont forget the regents are premix meaning you get concentrate that YOU dilute/premix for the regent jars that go in the actual unit. So in theory you use it to do 1 or 2 test a month and just figure out how much premix that is. You will be laughing I know for sure this is something I would def buy when I buy a apex

And the catch. It only works with the Apex, not the Apex classic. Which means it now just got really expensive for a lot of people. Terence said in an interview that it had to be in the right price range, $500, when designing it. It quickly jumped in price now.

I would buy something like this. It will be interesting to see when they actually release it.

Yeah that pisses me off I love my classic and see me need to upgrade. Now they have forced us to spend all this $ if we want the trident.
