Hello community, my name is Leighton, I am recently retired from the RCAF of 20 years at 413 Search and Rescue Squadron, now working as a mortgage agent.
I have much freshwater experience when I was younger, and now have my first reef tank. I think I am picking this up pretty quickly, and am working on a 66 gal clown mini harem with anemones and duncans.
My current setup is a 66 gal with two Sicce 5000 powerheads and a fluval 407 filter. Ive got 40 times tank turnover and cycling is done.
Some things I am on the hunt for is setting up a small sump system. I can only accommodate about 8 to 10 gal for a sump(space under tank is roughly 12"x15"x16" ), which is also going to require an aftermarket overflow to hang on the side\in tank, and a reliable protein skimmer. My light that came with the kit is absolute garbage single strip LED, so I also am on the hunt for a ~40'' marine LED, low profile as I have a cover for my tank. So the fluval marine 3.0 if i can find it.
