New Tank Fish Ideas

I have a 47 long custom tank and wanted a few ideas of fish I can put in a fowlr only want 2 or 3 fish what would be the biggest fish type I could put in ? Maybe even one fish

you should first decide if you want a peaceful or predator tank, that will help you narrow it down..

google predator fish, live aquariums is a great place to do research. A lot of us here use it when we spot a new fish..

An Antennata Lionfish makes a great showpiece by itself and although it gets around 7-8" long it is a slow swimmer/cruiser that would still be OK in a tank that small (regular lions get too big and sounds like you would like something flashier than a dwarf lion....guessing).

Bonus...lions are generally tolerant and easy to keep.

Dwarf Angels are nice, not Predator but still nice, Flame Angel, Coral Beauty, Rusty, Lots of Colour and later if you decide you want Coral, they'd be fine.

Most angels are zoa/polyp munchers. But sometimes you get lucky.

I've never had any trouble with them other than they like to chase each other.

But you are right sometimes you get that nasty fish.

Lots of wrasse choices out there

Look at a pair of leopards, Melanurus, mystery, coris, pygmy,

Also look at hogfish and hawkish

Clown Fish are nice, So many varieties and Gobies are nice too, The High Fin Goby is very colourful although small but you could have more fish that way.
