I use a Panasonic DMC-FZ40 - its a High Zoom sub DSLR camera and does a pretty good job in RAW mode.

Here are some pics i took at Bill's place (Incredible Aquarium)

The pics were adjusted for white balance and black levels as well as noise correction. Colors are true to life.

thanks guys.

mine was only about $400 but i received it as a Christmas gift last year. I didnt want to step up to the camera's with interchangeable lenses for the lenses cost more than the damn camera!

these look heavily saturated but i can assure they are not. These were taken under the ecotech Radion under blue leds only. The pop is pretty amazing.

He seems to be okay with it. Lots of sand blowing on him so I keep cleNing him off but I am feeding him directly once a week. It's neat watching them eat but they take forever and mr shrimp takes advantage of it

teebone stopped by with his wife's D80. Whole new beast that frustrated the shit out of me. Never try to use a new camera on a fish tank - its way to hard.

anyway's here are few pics we took - credit to teebone for taking over after i got pissed off and gave up. Good thing we had beer...

Man that sand blows everywhere though eh.....I notice it on your rocks quite a bit.  Those vortechs must be doing there job.
