I am looking to start piping my new tank. I have checked Canadian Tire in Chatham and Blenheim. They have all the piping, but I need 1" diameter shutoff valves. Anyone have suggestions on the best place to find piping fittings?

i normally go to homehardware for misc. stuff, and TSC for larger stuff like bulkheads, valves etc.

i get almost everything i need from KENT FARM SUPPLIES blenhiem although they do want to help you but you get better results if you sort through the store yourself,mention aquarium and they look at you like your an alien but every bit of my plumbing including bulkheads came from there

home depot has the stuff.
Probably not the cheapest but they have 1" pipe and accessories.

make sure you get PVC and not ABS fittings though
