I have been out of the hobby since I dismantled my 90 Gal tank and we were moving to a new house and wasnt sure where I would want to put a tank. I ended up selling most of my equipment.
Well 8 years later finally getting back in.
Tank: Red Sea Reefer 170 (24" X 20" X 20")(34Gal)
Pump: Eheim Compact 3000
Lights : Radion XR15 Pro G4
Powerhead: Ecotech Vortech MP10
Skimmer: Reef Octopus Classic 110SS
Heater: Cobalt Neotherm 150W
I had kept my rock from the previous tank and started soaking it first in RO water than in a tub of saltwater with a powerhead and heater.
Did this for a couple of weeks and then added 10lbs of semi cured live rock to the bin.
Tank Setup.
Added rock and 40lbs of Arag Alive fiji pink sand.
Finished the rockwork and mixed and added saltwater.
Decided to use Dr Tim's One and only and am currently going through the cycle.
