i have a 10 gal refuge with just live rock ruble, awaiting cheetomorpha,
only about 2/3 of the tank will hold macro and micro algea,

How large dows my light need to be, can i use an energy saver ,(CFL) ?
and what spectrum, i guessed a warmer light with some visible yellow. ?

and i could use some cheeto... i am in sarnia  tonite and gonna pay 12$ a clump tomora , whatever they call
a clump worth.. ill find out hehe,

pet zone in sarnia has turbo snails WAYY cheaper than living things chatham, the bl hermits are cheeaper too..

6700k is good for cheato.  if you were in london i could get you alot of cheato.  i have tons at the moment.lol

how big is your ref?  on mine i was using 2 regular cf bulbs over it.  instead of t8 i would try t5ho, or if it's just a smaller tank use regular compact bulbs.  you can get the 100w eq for like $6 each, then 2 sockets from home depot for a few bucks each.  they even have some that will pierce the wire so they hook up easy.
