Replace Bulkheads?

What is your guys experience with used aquariums with plumbing? Would you replace the bulkheads or leave them if they don't leak?

all of my tanks were used and all I did was double check that they don't leak, then left them alone...

How long have you had your tanks running? I didn't know if it was a common practice or not to replace them.

I personally always replace plumbing on used systems
