? Why would he even try and sell that? I just read its stings can cause permanent numbness :/

I've had a few of those in my tanks....... they are actually pretty common.  I would find small zoa rocks move from one end of the tank to the other.....from the bottom to the top etc.  He would also take out large patches of GSP.

Oh its called an eunicid worm.
