Scuba Diving In Punta Cana Dominican Republic

Hello everyone I have just returned from Punta Cana where i was on my honeymoon. While there i took some time to go diving I am at work right now but i took a camera with me on the dive so hopefully they turned out good ( the camera depth rating was for 35 ft and i was 55ft)

I saw lots of nice coral and some great looking fish Dominican Republic is not know for there nice reefs due to overfishing but the reefs looked great with lots of growth.

Will try to get the pics up asap

This first pic didn't turn out but above us was a school of baracuda

these were a nice purple colour with a bright green mouth

This was a beautiful fairy wrasse about a foot long

This guy stuck by me for the entire dive he showed up when the baracuda were swimming around

These were green with purple polyps very nice

A nice butterfly fish about 12 inches

Can you see the clown box fish he was really cool

I also did a wreck dive but i for got the camera where we saw large lion fish and sting rays

and also a large fish about 10 feet long not sure what it was but it was big and kind of scarry

You should definatly go and see a reef scuba diving is great and i love doing it

What was the water temperature? You have some great pictures.

I went snorkelling during my last trip to Jamaica, it definitely changes you. I came back and rearranged my live rock a few times to make it more realistic.

the water was 70 to 75 degrees very nice
