With your gravel I would siphon it every water change, one or two time a week depending the amount of water change. I see some brown sps, that a pretty good indication not enough light.

Ok. Will do quarter of gravel each water change.
I’m lengthening my photo period, not the intensity but length of time it runs at the peak level.
Going to leave everything else the way it is for couple of weeks.

Tissue that was peeling off seems to have stopped.
Will monitor levels and see how things go in a month.

Sps seems to be doing well now.
Digi red is back. Still not getting the green on the forest fire digi.
Red Monti new growth is blindingly red and bright.
Polyp extension is crazy as well.

I think it was all light related.
Now time to start moving and getting some new sps to replace. This time only high light sps.

On another note, the zoas not all too happy.
Gobstoppers are flourishing while the sunny d’s Next to them melt.

Clown has decided to host my green nepthea which obviously is not going over well. At least that I can diagnose the issue!

Cal 460
Alk 9.0
Mag 1400
Temp 78.8
Salinity 1.026
Dosing fuel now daily, iodide weekly
As per @Kevin Tran Ive boosted the Mp40 up to 3/4 power, as well as the Mp10
Lots of random flow and surface agitation now.

Miami vice zoas have melted now.
Along with the Sunny D’s and the candy apple pinks.
This hobby can be so frustrating at time.

When you dose cal and mag do you add it in flow of tank? Give a few mins before each dose aswell. If it precipitates(due to ionic balance) it will land on some corals and will kill or damage them. Its my guess due too it only affecting some that look like they could be in flow range. Good luck I hope you get it figured out.

I have a doser pump that pumps into return chamber of the sump.
Dose around 10ml/day I think. I’d have to check what it’s at.
Believe they dose about 15 min apart.
I don’t dose mag unless needed just esv 2 part and now aquavito fuel at night.

Notice chunk of flesh on my bonsai Acro is gone now. But the poly extension is crazy.
Poly extension on all acros is great.

I now have skimmer turning off at 9pm, dose aquavitro at 10pm, skimmer back on before morning.

Maybe try to get some phyto in the tank on a more consistent basis.
