5" Blue hippo made it to the overflow somehow :?  Glad my kid noticed and my wife was here to help.

Finally got him out.  What a pain - not a good project to do when drinking....  Only casualty may be purple cap (stay tuned for frag posting).

Close.

Luckily my kid saw her in the corner overflow.  Was a panic - had to take out the dursa.....which caused a quick drain of the overflow area, which would have dried up the tang!  Had to duck under and plug up the pipe in the sump and scream for my wife to 'fish' her out.

That which does not kill us (or our fish) gives us a good story.

<sigh> just got the bicolour blenny out from there.  Nothing every made it to the overflow for 3 years, now 3 fish (did I mention the 6 line) in a few months.  Time for some egg crate.

How's your water conditions?  It may be that the fish are wanting to 'jump ship', so to speak.  Just a thought.  Or is there a new aggressive fish in there?

Hope not!  But you never know - they all seem content most of the time (and I only test once or twice a year, so they will have to hang in there).
