Posting here first. This is what I have been up to on weekends. The fish room rebuild that has been planned for months is finally long under way. I am too embarrassed to post the original sump set up but here is the info so far

Sump: Bashsea Signature Series 30
Skimmer: Bashsea Twisted 6-30
Reactor: Reef Octopus 120r biopellet
Heater: 2 x Colbalt Neotherm 300w
Return pump: Ecotech Vectra M1
Sump circulation: Ecotech MP10wes
Sump Light: Ecotech Radion XR15 Pro Gen4

Aquarium Controller:

GHL profilux 4
Powerbar 5.1 x2 (+1 on DT)
KH Monitor
Doser 2.1 slave x2

First up was a wall demo as the rest of the room is already redone.

Sump cabinet was premade earlier. It is sprayed with truck liner spray and seems are caulked with black silicone. It is angled slightly to control any spills that may happen to a drain I will be installing next weekend

Luckily I got it running the first weekend. The hardest part of this has been the fact that I need to keep it functional and in use while doing it.

Next I added a second part to the cabinet

I then installed the Radion XR15 Pro Gen4. Why you may ask, well I do plan on a possible mangrove garden or even a frag rack in the sump when/if needed.

In the second section I have my RO/DI set up. Yes it matches the res and black theme

I redid some wiring so I could install the controller wall. It is hinged so I can still get back there and access the rodi and storage.

So much wire management left, but I am done for this weekend I think. Then installing and tieing in the frag tank which will have a MP10wes for circulation and Radion XR15 Pro Gen4 for light.

Looks great. I'm sure your going to really like the Bashsea sump. It looks very good. Your wire management wire come and all tidy and neat. Can hardly wait to see the final project, ( even when I know most reefers are never really "done")

Looking good torx!
Are you installing any fans in that cabinet? Are you worried about moisture build up with the open sump and your controller being in such close proximity?

Very good point. I am not too concerned as most people have their electronics/controller under their tank with closed doors. Right now the only 'door' is the one that the controller sits in and it only partially covers the opening of one side. I do plan on adding plexi doors to this eventually and may consider adding ventilation at that time.

I still have tons of wiring to do. Right now I am printing holders/harnesses to help route the plethora of dosing hoses and wires. I hope to have them all done tomorrow night.

Today's project...under tank lighting

Looks good.
All wavelengths of light to assist in algae growth.
Yes, I have a Radion G4 Pro over the sump that will be later used for mangroves probably or maybe drop a frag rack in there for large colonies. The bottom of this Bashsea SS30 sump is solid black acrylic. So no bleed through.

what are you dosing with 8 pumps?
The top 4 head doser is used for the GHL KH monitor. The first head fills the test container with tank water. The second doses the reagent. The third drains the rest container when test is done. The 4the head doses alk accordingly.

The second doser will be calcium and magnesium. That will leave 2 heads open.
