Getting 10 ppm after ro/di system.
Is this bad, and what does this mean.
Maybe new membrane and filters.

Mike

thanks I will buy them off you.
appreciate it.

Used a tds meter at work. Very accurate.
Also tested phosphates at work.
Got .02 ppm on my older tank
and .17 ppm on my new tank.
I am using a gfo reactor on tank 2 and gfo in a bag in my hob filter in tank no 1
The gfo has only been in use or about a week.

Hey Mike, the water you tested? How did you collect this water? If it was taken at the startup of the RODI unit it just may be that TDS bleed. When I start mine I get a reading of 12 TDS and it takes about 3 min before it reads 0 again. Just a thought before you change everthing.

i find i get wayyyyy different readings using different cups or bottles.  Need to make sure it is something extremely clean.

I did let it run for a bit, and put the water in sterile Lab bottles.
I knew the filters were old, but wasnt sure if 10 was acceptible.
I will get some new filters, hopefully through petercar.

thanks guys
