2 of my ponies are coming next weekend...I think that I am going to name one of them " Paul Revere" not sure what the other names will be...

nope and yes there are 4 coming but, I cycled the tank the natural (?) way and to add 4 at once is much of a shock to the tank... the other 2 will be coming in a couple of weeks...

But what about aggression and established hyerarcy? I can't see how they could add that much of a bio load unless they poop like real horses.

seahorses don't have stomachs so the bio load would/could an issue with the water quality..I don't think that there is a hierarchy and they poop a lot...better safe than sorry ... pretty much the same as you shouldn't add a bunch of fish at the same time...
