Thoughts on T5 HO

This maybe a bit ol' school, But is anyone still running t5 ho on their tanks as the main light source?
I'm trying to light up a 35x12x12 tank.
Back in the day they had TEK lights and I feel a good 2 or 4 bulb would do it but it doesn't seem like they are still around.

Thoughts on t5hos out classed by led in terms of reef lighting?

Just seeing my options on lighting this tank up.

T5s for the win, there are still quite a bit of ppl using t5s as the main lights source as well as supplemental for leds. I’d do a 4 bulb if I were you.

I'm running the Aquatic Life T5 4 bulb hybrid with a radion and love having the best of both worlds.

T5 led hybrids are the way to go imo , yes new lights like hydra 64 or radion with grow anything you want at 50% , but being able to run them around 25-30% with t5 mix will save the life and the spread from t5s is honestly worth it in its self , nothing better then a fully lit tank in every corner. Definitely miss my t5 led hybrid .. lol

I have 5 G5 xr30 Pro units over mine, definitely covers the entire tank. My main coral guy runs only T5 with Orphek LED strips.

Thankfully I'm seeing good growth, bases of the frags have now spread to the rock and growth width wise and height. I've had my set backs, mainly due to work, but it's almost 1 year old and stable.
