Trip to Dog Park

Well I picked up a new camera body this weekend. Going from D200 to the D7000. Took it to the dog park today with my 50mm lens to just give it a  quick go while my dog played and burned off some energy. All photos are straight off camera, no tripod or flash. Still lots to get used to and learn. Enjoy.

Very clear pictures.  They captured the moment perfectly with no blurring. You should have some fun with that camera

Yea I am still trying to figure out how to reset all the settings on the camera right now as I noticed the previous owner had customized pretty much every button lol.

That rottie liked to play hard. She is 18 months old, ripped his collar off 3 times lol. He likes a dog that can handle some good hard play, they had a blast. There was a female Shepard there as well but she wasn't too interested in the rough play.

Yea. Now that you have met him as well, you can see how is really is just a gentle giant that loves to play hard when he has another dog to play with The more wirey the better.

Junk licking he doesn't mind from some dogs, he won't put up with humping though, gives a warning every time telling the dog to cut it out.

His warnings are very vocal, teeth barred and snarling. If they don't get it after he does this a few times well they will learn.

Took Beaner and our dog we are fostering "Athena" until she finds a forever home to dog park today to let them run around. Kept them to the 1 on 1 area as the full dog park was quite full and I'm not 100% sure on Athena's temperament in a multiple dog situation.
