Weird White Zigzags [solved]

I’ve seen this pattern once before, a couple weeks ago. It was right beneath my pulsing Xenia coral, so I assumed it was a sort of slime from the coral, but it’s way across the tank now in the same zigzag pattern so it can’t be related. I’ve googled and checked this forum, but haven’t been able to figure it out. Anybody know what this is?

I'm thinking snail eggs as well, I get a similar pattern on my glass and rocks.

Oh wow thanks, hadn’t considered that. I’ve got one nerite and a couple ceriths, so for anyone who finds this in the future it must be cerith eggs. It’s such a weird pattern I should have known it was from an animal lol
