what would this be when it grows up

A pink mushroom. I have some in my tank, trying to find where I got it and find a larger pic.

Also could be a blue/grey hairy mushroom.  Extremely aggressive, hardy and self propagating.

I found it in the gravel a  while ago, stuck it too this shell and let it grow.

It's not a mushroom its a ricordia, same as those pink ones in your tank

Lol kinda.. They won't just drop off tho, they usually just multiply into groups.. It looks like you might have 2big ones right? That would have started as 1..soon you will have 4. That little one could have came off in the process of moving stuff around.. Hard to say for sure

there are actually some really cool looking ricordia. Nice colours.
Thats just one huge one, not two.

The one I have moves around and leaves little bits on the rock, each bit forms a mouth and grows into a mushroom.
