Sounds kind of Scary, where in the heck would a non experience traveler go? with out fearing for their life?

Thailand is safe. A lot of the locals speak English too. Same the Philippines. When I was in Thailand, I had a cabin 40 ft from the ocean for $8/night. At night, they move their bamboo picnic table contraptions 20 ft into the water and serve you food and cocktails in the ocean all night long.
