Wp and apex programming

I was out yesterday and decided to but a WP10 while I wait for mine to come in. I need the Koralia in my frag tank as this is getting setup this weekend (today).
On to my question. I have the "Torx" cable and want to put the WP in today when I do my water change. My tank is an AIO with roughly 26g of display. I have found some programming online for the WP40, but there is no indication of how big the reefers tank was. Do I just mount the thing and then begin to program - or will this cause major waves? Any help, suggestions or direction is appreciated.

just mount and program, start with low intensity and go from there, just use the pump profile page.

Yup, wp40 programs will work with the 10, 25 or 60 as well. Then just adjust the intensity for your tank. Like pistol stated, start low and work your way up.

Gonna give this a try tonight. So I have to program on low setting to begin with? Then add as desired?
In other words get it plugged in and ten program, or program first then plug it in...yes I know really dumb question.

Oh an how do I know which \"profile\" or name the cable is plugged into?

I programmed the first one, then plugged it in. But it doesn't matter. I adjust the program all the time without ever touching a connection.  I normally make the cables with one connector having a white dot, that is normally varsp 2 or 4, depending which port it is plugged into on the apex.

Basically I just have a wave profule made, then in the varsp, I tell it to run that profile.

I would copy my stuff, but apex is not connected online atm due some changes.

Ok so here's what I am thinking about doing: Thoughts? Or should I just use the standard Ramp and Oscillate like the included image? (BTW totally taken from other users posts)

I will use PF2 - rename to WP10_Rt (right side of tank)

Set Wave1
If Time 08:00 to 11:59 Then DuskDawn
If Time 12:00 to 16:00 Then Wave1
If Time 16:01 to 22:00 Then DuskDawn
If Time 22:01 to 07:59 Then Night
If FeedA000 Then OFF

Wave1 (main daylight wave pattern)
Synchronize Disabled (I only have 1 pump)
Divide by 10 Disabled
Initial off time (Seconds) 0
On time (Seconds) 7
Off time (Seconds) 4
Minimum intensity 0
Maximum intensity 50 (to start)

DuskDawn (This is a lower flow wave pattern used intermittently during the light hours as well as before and after lights go out)
Synchronize Disabled
Divide by 10 Disabled
Initial off time (Seconds) 0
On time (Seconds) 7
Off time (Seconds) 4
Minimum intensity 0
Maximum intensity 30

Night (Sets a constant 30% flow during light off hours)
Synchronize Disabled
Divide by 10 Disabled
Initial off time (Seconds) 0
On time (Seconds) 10
Off time (Seconds) 15
Minimum intensity 30
Maximum intensity 30

Truly you can do what ever you want. That is the joy of controlling them with the Apex. A lot of people are trying to mimic or improve on the Vortec factory programming. I like the second one more then the one in the img's. I just run a single profile through the day and a different one at night...well right now it is just one as I have other things on my plate atm.

Got it! Thanks for reviewing it. Where do I need
To add the programming, under pf2, but I don't see the ability to add it under that profile?

Under the profile page, select a profile, and rename it to Wave1
Then input the Wave1 info as noted above. Save
Then under the profile page, select another profile, and name it DuskDawn
Then input the Wave1 info as noted above. Save
Then under the profile page, select another profile, and name it Night
Then input the Wave1 info as noted above. Save

Then go to the Varsp and paste the first paragraph of code "Set Wave1..." and set the slider on the varsp to Auto.

Worked very well! Not sure about the intensity as of yet, but the good thing is that it will be consistent at night. Now just have to see how the flow is.

Thanks Torx!
