I know....but I couldn't snap a pic

Have a wrasse with an orange face and dark blue body. No fancy markings, just transitions from orange to blue (like a royal gramma)

Had him for ages living by himself in the frag tank - just hoping he can handle a community....but I can't find out anything about him!

Not something easy like a Solar Wrasse? Some variations of Lubbock's Wrasse are orange head purple to blue body but usually have a yellow dorsal stripe... What size or body shape? Like Fairy type or hogfish type or Melanurus shaped?

Fairy shaped. Just NO variation in his colour - other fairies all of patterns and shades it seems. I will try for a pic this weekend. He was out yesterday, but the blue lights were on - when I turned them off, he hid never to return.

Steene's dottyback or Lyretail dottyback, is the most aggressive member of the family. Scott Michael has even proclaimed that P. steenei is, "ounce for ounce, the meanest fish in the sea."

Guess he's not welcome in the display. Cool guest in the frag tank though.
