My zoas are starting too fade. I recently increased light by one hour and raised my alk from 5 too 8 over the course of about a week.
Also changed out my gfo last water change.
Any of this that could cause my problems.
thanks
mike

Just checked everything. All normal. alk was 8.5 today.
Maybe the alk swing with the incresed light.
I also noticed my two birdsnest's don't look as happy as usuall.

I heard high nutrients causes zoas too brown/fade

I was going to say, my zoas have slowly got better colour as i slowly lowered nutrients. Ive also changed my lights too, so results are not conclusive
