Zoomed 50 Gallon Low Boy Frag Tank

Hey everybody, I picked up a zoomed 48x24x10 lowboy frag tank. Is fairly nice looking the only thing that has me concerned is the fact that it appears to be made outta 3/16 glass. Any insight on glass thickness vs. Depth and total volume would be appreciated. Am planning on removing all upper trim and installing 2 48x5x1/4 euro braces myself before I fill. I look forward to your input and thanks again as always.

It’s a little thinner than most would do. 1/4” glass I consider the bare minimum for any tank. I personally wouldn’t trust it. Euro bracing would help for sure

Thanks @Matt1997 I'm getting more and more Leary on it, but since my basement is unfinished I may just use it until something else comes up? Just outta curiosity do you build tanks?

If so what would a 48x24x10 eurobraced tank outta 1/4 or 5/16 be worth?

I normally don’t do glass my main work is acrylic but I have done a few glass builds. If it’s just the glass tank 1/4” plate glass you would be looking at probably $300 from most builders
