I'm starting a new tank. Have you ever had a Nano or a Pico. I've had a few, Unsuccesfully kept. They have very little water volume. Infact this 12 Gallon holds 7 Gallons of water, Go figure? That's with no Rock or sand and includes the rear compartments full of water. It's a JBJ It's really cool.

I've got to get some rock for it or maybe make some. My plan is a Zoa tank, but really special ones, Yes Brandon I've got the designer Zoas bug LOL. It will certainly be a challenge and that's what I need at this time. I'll try and get some pics.

yup 7 gallons dave, I measured it but that's ok, Nanos can be rewarding but can't be over whelmed with fish, I was thinking Shrimp a Goby and snails.

What kind of rock lay out do you want, why put so much time in making just a small amount of rock for a small nano. Diy rock you need to cure it than cycle it after, it can take month and more for all the stuff to leach out of the rock.

I have this three rock that I made a while back, it not cure yet, it not very porest so it good for zoa and play to spread. Just take a chesal and a hammer to break them apart to size for stacking, oh it big and heavy too. I made it with white cement, crush oyster shell and not enough rock salt. It your if you like.

Dave, not a problem really. This Cube is in great shape. It's bigger than my Oceanic 8 GL that I had. Just more of a challenge. Eric I would still need the Oyster Shells? Do you have any or know where I can get some. I was thinking 1 Rock for the Cube but a Custom so I'll have to make a Sand mold or maybe I could find that one perfect rock in some ones tank LOL.

They are big, the largest one will fill your nano for sure, but you can have all three as I don't have any use for them, just pm me you number and I will text you to see when you want to pick them up

I got rid of my little tank, I needed some work on my car and traded it to my Mechanic, He got the better deal believe me cause the parts he used failed. I moved to north Bay, closer to family. But I'm looking for something else.

Glad to hear that you're having a good time there with family. Internet is great, it connects you to everybody. Looking forward to see your new build.

Yes, even though I've moved to the North I can still keep in touch with all my friends on TFT, I met so many peeps that became my friends, in all the years I was on AP I can honestly say that I connected with only a few of them but TFT has been very different. Says a lot for Our Reefing community.
