Holy molle, that is one big tank. I would like to see the filtration that is being used, its one big tank but that is still a heavy bio load.. lets hope its not a ATM tank, lol..

Awesome tank it's also lit by a mixture of Orpheks DIF 100 and Atlantik pendants. This tank was one of many that helped me in my decision of going with Orpheks Atlantik when the wife gave me the go ahead with leds.

yup, I know of that one too. It's not so much the "size" but the fantasy value of the tank I admire. Aesthetically, Pieter's is much more pleasing IMO. The dutch truly have a sense of aesthetics when it comes to aquariums, both fresh and salt.

yeah this happened a few months before nineball's crash. He didn't suffer flood damage as he had built drains into the floor in case of such a catastrophe. Apparently he is planning to build one double the size - 40,000 gallons! freakin billionaires.

What's outstanding about Pieter's large private aquarium is that it has not suffered the crashes that's happened to the other large privately owned reefs. So he got the engineering done right!
