I'm using a home Depot par 38 flood light (two of them) . My algae grows very well under them, monthly culling is required

They were about 30 bucks each.

Grow lights are available on Ali express or eBay btw if your looking for one. Or of course any of your local 'indoor gardener' stores

Hi there bigreefer bud!
Use to use a clamp - on and grow bulb. Now using a 24" led full spectrum. My mangroves that i got from hark have started to grow noticeably faster and fuller now!

I picked up the used LED fixture at Living Aquarium in Cambridge. I was lucky I guess, it fit the tank perfectly. They don't always have used fixtures there for sale, but I always check the used equipment table to see whats on it. I was in last week and there was a longer LED fixture for sale just not sure of the exact size or price it was. I might be in there tomorrow and I can see what they have if you like.?

I have found a screw in cfl bulb in the 5500k-6900k works best for more algae in a sump.
