I have also posed this question in the show / swap section but...

I know fish livestock is not normally done due to stress and logistics but will anyone, vendors etc, be selling CUC's at the coral show?
Banded snails, conches, crabs etc?

Its just very hard to bring inverts with corals, we are limited in tank space and to have inverts 'running' around in a small frag tank with corals is a bit of nightmare. Might be good if someone would do Inverts only, but they are typically very cheap with little markup which makes putting in all the hard work not so rewarding.

Well I can't argue with that logic.
Just hoping due to the fact that it is now time to introduce a new CUC to my new(est) tank.
And the one stop shopping would have been nice! Lol

I think the better idea would be a month or so prior to the show a vendor takes orders on cuc. Then you prepay for them and on the day of the show you pick up your order. I wonder if that would also work with coral frags? I just it would take all of the fun out of the show.

While i agree that events like this should be first of all fun!
For some it is nice to be able to combine trips to events like this. I for one , live about an hour and a half from the nearest large marine aquarium supplier so it is nice if once in awhile i can save a few hours and gas $$$.
:)
I am lucky to have @unibob about an hr from me and he is great but alas, i am still waiting for him to open his 10,000 s.f. reef store! ;)
( hows is that coming along unibob? )

I have snails, but I don't think enough to full additional orders of what I have said I would bring already. I'll inquire about getting more :)

Unibob should try and crowd fund it or Kickstarter to raise the funds if you donate $100 you get a t-shirt $500 13% off all products for a year in store. And so on...

I would prefer a 18 wheeler that was setup with frag tanks and a huge storage container in the front of the trailer holding premixed saltwater. He drives to certain cities on different days. Fills the tanks from the container and unpacks fish, coral and has a freezer with food and a few racks of dry goods. So a mobile aquarium store.

Could bring saltwater to places without aquarium stores in area. Can bring orders to city on next visit if pre-ordered as well as tanks lights etc. have a electric fork lift so he can deliver huge tanks into people's houses.

Okay I got carried away.

Never mind carried away. That is an amazing business plan!
Now, would @unibob get his AZ license and drive it himself, hire a driver or...maybe get @Torx to partner up with him and Torx could do all the driving! ;)

Take the damn governor off the truck and you will see a need for speed.

Just wish I could get a bear report in my car, I could get to the show quicker that way.
