Stocking List

OK it's time to start thinking of a stocking list for my 135 long. In the main display I already have two Picasso clowns. A Christmas wrasse. And a chevron tang.

I would like to add one more large fish. I am thinking of the Niger trigger? Has anyone had experiences with them? Another option would be an Australian harlequin tusk fish? I realize both of these are not invert safe but that shouldn't be a problem What do you guys think any other options I should consider?

Great choices! I have a Tusk currently and had a Niger for many years before I had to combine tanks to prepare to build...

Both have tons of personality, tough as nails, but won't harass anything they can't eat. Both love to burrow which can be an annoyance but your rockwork is solidly assembled so really a non issue.

Tusk is flashier and Niger will deliberately break rocks to rearrange them so I never considered putting him in a tank with SPS since I'm pretty sure he would happily nip off branches with his teeth and distribute them around the tank...

I had a crosshatch for a couple years. He was my favorite fish by far. But I got him from a fellow reefer for a steal. I don't think I could afford another one :(
