Hi Everyone, I wanted to share a story about co-operation and help among our forum members.

Before I start, I want to say that I am certain that this type of thing goes on everyday without any fanfare and as a community we should be proud of that. Geographically, this is a big province and we need to help each other out where we can

In my story I am only going to mention some of the forum members names to protect their privacy but they know who they are and they are welcome to post in

OK, here’s what happened ...

Joshbrookkate made a posting about a week ago looking for someone to transport a part back to Uniboob. First to reply was Torx who said that he could get the product moved from Windsor to Blenheim. Second, I piped up and said that I could get the product from him to Uniboob.

So far so good, right ?!

Well then another forum member kindly asked if a copepod delivery from David Caplan in Toronto could be made while I was coming to Blenheim. I said sure.

Then this forum member offered to pick up the part destined for Uniboob from Torx and give it to me when I meet them for the pod delivery - that was a bonus !

All went off without a hitch and joshbrookkate’s part got to the correct destination! Uniboob was great to let me drop off the part at a predetermined location and David Caplan was up at the crack of dawn preparing the pods for their journey ! (which I am pleased to report got to their new home and are swimming safely !)

I wanted to post this story because everyone was quick to jump in and help each other out and that’s what makes this forum and its members great !

Hi Sam,
you are right, there are an awful lot of great members on this forum! I have been on the receiving end of this generosity a few times and appreciate all the help in it's various forms that the members have given me more than they could possibly realize!

I think it is fantastic and great that you took the time to make up this post!

I to agree with Sam and Zoomster, being that I don't have a vehicle (at this time but soon) there have been so many people that have helped me including both of the people that I have mentioned..
This is a great site with awesome people..although we sometimes squabble we are all there for each other helping in any way that we can..kind of like a big family...

Credit has to be given to you as well Sam. Driving all over southern Ontario picking up and dropping off goodies for everyone. Regardless if your going that way or not it still takes time and effort. And stops everywhere. None of that story would have happened with out you.

Thanks Matt - very kind words and I like to help out where I can.
Next trip I will have to deliver some of your awesome corals to these forum members !

There is a whole network of people helping each other help each other. I am never scared to ask someone if they are going to meet someone. I urge people to not be afraid to ask myself either. I have moved dozens of items in and out of Windsor as well. @SamB has been a great help to the members here. Myself included. We are lucky to have him particularly as he does the long drives. I would like to thank the local Chatham-Kent members who have helped me a lot as well @Deptron, @prism127, @pulpfiction1 (who is the reason that I was able to stay in this hobby), and the list goes on. This thread is exactly what this site is around for.
