Kent Reef Salt mix 200G mix for $75 good deal?


Copperband Butterfly for $20 each?

Feather Duster (L) for $7?

Seems like im using three times the amount of salt in this new 60 gal compared to the 20 go figure

I use kent marine. Find it mixes quicker than IO and my monti growth has increased since switching. I got it on sale for $49 but I think it is usually $79.

I guess no salt for me. no rush really. Still thinking about fish maybe 3 in the 60 is really enough

I figured for the big box it was a reasonable deal. Instant oceans is $50 for the box

Should drive to pets and ponds and get a 1000 gal instant ocean box for $250

I buy the box ( 200g ) of kent reef salt for $65 a box.
Been thinking about getting a CBB though.
That sounds like a good deal if they are nice and healthy.

well the deal is this, the store gets in huge quantities of fish and corals. Then they don't mark them up as high as others so that they can get them in move them out fast. Some people believe this is awful and this is the worst store in the toronto area. But if those people had any ability to reason. then they would realize almost every store gets fish in and sells them as soon as possible. almost zero stores will quarantine a fish for 3 weeks and prove that its healthy and eating well. even those stores prolly sell you their fish ASAP if you had the money in your hand.

Pretty far drive in was there the other week and the store was empty.

I am for doing Qt on corals and fish in order to provide customers with the confidence in the health of your livestock. But...
You are right about few stores QTing the livestock and for the most part, probably not a big deal. However, there are a few exceptions that I think should never be deviated from. And due to the sensitivity and how finicky the CBB are, That is one fish I believe should absolutely be QT'd
At least the stores that do fast track the livestock out offer much longer guarantees though.
