I've been using putty to cover up sunset monti, it's extremely aggressive and it WILL kill sps. Looks nice but needs to be off on it's own.

WOW REALLY? I didn't know that about this type of coral. And here I'm having trouble getting my little piece of Sunset to even look healthy. Hopefully when the new LED shows up it will help. Good to know though.

I have recently realized this. I have a few different types of monti near each other. The sunset is attacking the other ones and winning. Luckily it is on its own rock, so hopefully today I can move that rock off the main structure and replace it.

Mine has taken over as well wish i didn't put it up on prime real estate on my rock work should have put it on its own separate rock.

It is really easy to break off. Mine grows on the rock, but not really to it. If that makes any sense. I just broke off a few peices the other day and put them on plugs.
