thanks for the info Sam, there was nothing that I think is going on with this fish.. its not anything that they listed...

How about a change of color on the nori sheets Heath ?
Maybe your guy / girl is more of a red sheet lover than green sheet nibbler ?:D

I think fish rely more on smell than sight. I would guess he is full or sick. My foxfaces smell the sea weed as soon as the clip goes in. Try soaking in garlic.

garlic always helps entice a picky eater.
Keep a close eye on him heath, with fish it is very hard to tell if they are sick alot of the time.

thanks everyone for the great advise, I do add a lot of garlic when I make their food..he was never a picky eater, that's what alerted me to that there was something wrong... unfortunely, he passed away on Tuesday...everyone else in the tank is doing great so, I hope that what ever it is was just an isolated incident...

You always take such good care of your fish so I am sure that you are sad about this unexplained loss
Just a thought but did your 2 foxes fight ? Perhaps one of them stung the other ?
Fox faces are on of my fave fish

thanks everyone, no they didn't fight, actually the one was very protective of the other before he passed.. no one will ever tell me that fish don't bond.. it was sad watching the other one...
